3D chair element made of completely natural and sustainable materials
Paina ir Ko takes part in the project with VILNIUS ACADEMY OF ARTS developing 3D chair seating .
The spatial structural elements are designed and manufactured for the production of seated eco-furniture and other interior design objects. Natural indigenous materials are used – fibre plants / Cannabis sativa.
For the formation of fine biomass of plant fibres and woody debris particles, only bio-binders or forming technologies that exploit the intrinsic ability of fibrous plants to form cellulosic bonds are exclusively used.
This reflects the principles of a sustainable economy, solves the problem of furniture recycling, helps to curb negative ecological factors and contributes to the promotion of sustainability policies
The product embodies meaningful aspects: it expresses respect for nature, the environment and raw materials of Lithuanian origin.
